We all in the same boat. We won't forget 2020 easily.
As a musician, I struggle sometimes during my days thinking about music future and how hard I have been working and as for me many others towards my dream job and my passion.
I am using the self-isolation time to reconnect with my instrument. During 2020 I was losing the enthusiasm to play music, I was not connecting with my family and friends remotely but I pushed myself harder to keep a routine and beauty routine as well.
Some more then others are struggling financially, I have been affected as well in the beginning, then I found my solution to this problem, I discovered other interests and from them now I am restarting.
Tips For Self Isolation:
Wake up usual time to go work or school
Having Breakfast and shower
Reading News
Checking my Day Plan and Emails
Up to lunchtime learning a new skill
Lunch - During lockdown or self-isolation, I did miss much lunch because too busy to finish a task and overwhelmed with information.
After lunch Online harp lessons and working for the company
Work out - I like yoga, Pilates, and stretching, my favorite free app is #FitOn, there are scheduled classes but you can do them whenever you got the free time.
Relax time as playing the harp, calling family and friends, coloring, knitting, reading books, or cooking
Dinner and movies or chilling with my flatmates - I am lucky to share my flat with the other two girls from my same hometown and we are a small family in the UK.
Most important let's keep positive thoughts and be grateful every day for what we have and what we are.
I would like to recommend as well listening to music during the day, I listen to different playlists from #youtube or #spotify from meditative to classical music, jazz, RnB. I also write a personal notebook about my feelings, achievements it helps to take away any negative thoughts or worries.
Some of my favorite playlists from Spotify:
